Summary of the Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented, execution-focused individual to join a growing, well- established small business. The role combines support for day-to-day operations with a range of commercial and marketing activities. On the operations side, this includes helping with order entry and review, recording transactions in the company's main software system, and monitoring inbound and outbound logistics.

On the commercial and marketing side, the role supports initiatives such as preparing distributor-facing materials and organizing product and commercial information. A good eye for clean, professional presentation and a willingness to learn matter more here than prior

marketing experience.

A strong candidate is organized, efficient, proactive, a genuine team player, and comfortable juggling a variety of tasks. They are skilled at navigating computers and quick to pick up new

tools and technologies, including AI-based productivity tools.

Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day operations including order entry and review, recording transactions in the company's main software system, and customer communications regarding order placement and status




- Monitor daily deliveries and troubleshoot delays as appropriate
- Help organize and maintain product, pricing, and distributor information
- Assist with preparing distributor-facing materials (e.g., spec sheets, sell sheets, price lists) with a clean, skilled presentation
- Contribute to marketing and commercial initiatives across the business
- Learn and use AI-based tools (e.g., Claude) to help create materials and streamline tasks
- Take on additional responsibilities as business needs arise

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree or higher, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or a related support role
- A background in life sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related scientific field is preferred but not required we are happy to train the right candidate on the basics
- Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients or in an international business environment (required)
