ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

Position Research Analyst

Department Credit Research

Location Mumbai

Reporting Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client management:

- Accurate understanding of scope of research assignments/projects
- Meet & surpass client expectations
- Seek regular client feedback from stakeholders




- Incorporate the feedback & close the loop

Delivery management:

- Senior research analyst role with substantial client engagement
- One-to-one dedicated support to the client (a global buy-side firm) and responsibility for independent delivery
- Credit research tasks include financial statement analysis, business analysis, ratio analysis, credit analysis, industry analysis, liquidity and capital structure analysis / due diligence, amongst other things
- The candidate will be expected to discuss and explain every credit regularly with clients over calls and e-mails.
- Deliver and achieve 100% client satisfaction

Marketing, business development, organization development support

- Support on collaterals and samples
- Contribute towards marketing & thought leadership content

Educational, experience, and skills requirements:

- Postgraduate / CFA / CA / MBA & equivalent; CAs/CFAs will be preferred
- 3-8 years experience in international credit research / rating / underwriting and assessment / credit / equity research experience with banks, rating agencies, sell-side/buy-side firms, and KPOs
- Solid understanding of financial statements/ ratio analysis, credit assessment of international corporates, capital structure as well as industry level KPIs
- Solid writing skills plus experience with report writing and financial analysis on excel
- Experience with high yield / stressed / distressed credits
- Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated
