Job Summary

The Executive MEP Design is responsible for supporting the design, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for commercial interior fit-out projects. The role involves preparing design drawings, reviewing project requirements, coordinating with internal teams and consultants, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and project specifications. The position plays a critical role in delivering technically sound, cost-effective, and coordinated MEP solutions within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare MEP design drawings, layouts, schematics, and detailed engineering documentation for commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Develop HVAC, electrical, firefighting, plumbing, and ELV system designs as per project requirements and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with architectural, QS, procurement, project management, and site execution teams for design integration.
- Review client specifications, tender drawings, and project requirements to ensure design compliance.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and sizing of MEP systems.
- Assist in value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost and performance.
- Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, and material specifications for procurement and execution teams.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and subcontractors for design approvals and technical clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.




- Support site teams by resolving design-related issues and providing technical guidance during execution.
- Maintain project design documentation and revision records.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Additional certifications in MEP Design, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM will be an advantage.

Experience

- 2–7 years of experience in MEP Design.
- Experience in Commercial Interior Fit-Out projects is mandatory.
- Experience in preparing coordinated MEP drawings and design documentation.
- Exposure to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV design principles.
- Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Ability to prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination processes is preferred.
