Job Summary

The Academic Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students regarding academic programmes, career opportunities, admission procedures, scholarships, and institutional offerings. The role focuses on achieving admission targets while ensuring an excellent counselling experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents through calls, walk-ins, webinars, and campus visits.
- Explain B.Tech and MBA programmes, curriculum, specializations, industry collaborations, internships, and placement opportunities.
- Handle admission enquiries generated through digital marketing, educational fairs, schools, colleges, and referrals.
- Follow up with leads using CRM.
- Organize counselling sessions, seminars, and career guidance workshops.
- Coordinate admission documentation and application processing.
- Maintain enquiry, conversion, and admission records.
- Build relationships with schools, coaching institutes, and corporate partners.
- Achieve monthly and annual admission targets.
- Coordinate with academic and placement teams to ensure accurate information dissemination.
