Position: Senior Vice President – Content & Product Operations, 99acres

Purpose of the role:

99acres is India’s leading real estate portal. We are on a quest to move from leadership to dominance amongst real estate portals. One key aspect of this dominance will be to have the best of supply & content on our site & apps.

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead multiple operations teams and projects/initiatives which help with sourcing & screening content. These operations & initiatives span across various business verticals like new projects, resale, rental and commercial, and cater to both buyers/tenants, as well as owners/builders/brokers.

This role is about creating real impact for the business, by significantly transforming the 99acres platform through content width, depth, information quality & data quality. These are key dimensions for great consumer experience on 99acres to facilitate home buying/renting/selling.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

Understanding the Business Vision and accordingly build the Strategic roadmap for operations and leading the strategy to execution through his/her team.

Adopt as much tech and AI to automate all processes & improve process effectiveness

Driving width, depth, recency & accuracy of new projects content, leveraging online and offline methods

Increase quantity & quality of owner listings on the platform through various initiatives

Build and improve adoption of self-serve photo captures tools for brokers and owners

Make customer service leading edge in industry





Closely collaborate with other functional leaders in the business to make sure all teams are working seamlessly to deliver on the recent operations roadmap

Upskills and mentor team members (200+) to deliver complex projects within the stipulated timelines

From time to time, incumbent should be able to reimagine the role and what else the content & product operations team can contribute

Experience and Education Qualification

Engineer and/ or MBA from premier university with experience of 6-8 years, having experience in both strategic roles and leading large operations teams

Desired Candidate Profile:

Strong operational execution experience, with clear metrics driven approach to solve business problems

Ability to deeply understand consumer/customer needs & solve for them accordingly

Is strategic and at the same time is able to deep dive and ensure operational execution and not hesitant to get her/his hand dirty

Proven experience in using tech & AI to drive operations outcomes

Has very strong people management skills to drive metrics and mentor the team

Is able to independently engage and collaborate with top/senior management for collaborative problem solving

Has very strong program management skills and has the ability of dealing with ambiguity

Is able to conceptualize and execute large scale programs in close partnership with other teams like product, tech, Data science and business

This role will report into the Chief Business Officer (CBO) of 99acres
