Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with 68 years of software testing experience to lead quality assurance activities across multiple projects. The ideal candidate should have prior experience leading QA teams or initiatives and possess strong expertise in functional testing, REST API validation, third-party integration testing, plugin testing, mobile apps testing and end-to-end business workflow validation. This is a hands-on role requiring collaboration with Product, Engineering, Business and Client Stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and own QA activities across multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries.
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute test cases across functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and user acceptance testing phases.
- Perform hands-on validation of all application workflows, APIs, third-party integrations, and plugins etc. to ensure quality and reliability.
- Prepare test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
- Plan, estimate, assign, and monitor testing activities for the QA team.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through to closure.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare test metrics, dashboards, and quality reports.



Exposure to Power BI for reporting and analytics is an added advantage.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and testing methodologies.
- Participate in sprint planning, release planning, production validation, and post-release verification activities.

Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)

- 6–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Prior experience leading QA teams for multiple projects.
- Strong expertise in functional testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman.
- Experience using bug tracking tools such as Jira, Clickup, or equivalent.
- Experience testing web portals, plugins, mobile apps, third-party integrations, and interconnected systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for test management, reporting, and data analysis.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Robust understanding of regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Excellent defect analysis and root cause identification skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or similar).
- Exposure to Power BI or similar tools for dashboards and reporting.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
