Role & responsibilities

- Responsible for manufacturing the desired parts as per the instructions, in the given time frame, with full accuracy.
- Set up and load the VMC machine and align them to ensure accurate machining.
- Monitor the machining process, including checking for tool wear, making adjustments to machine settings, and performing quality checks on the finished product.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to ensure that machined parts meet the required specifications.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate production.
- Responsible for inputting the required program into the machine, specifying the required dimensions, tolerances, and cutting parameters.
- Perform routine maintenance on the VMC machine, such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Keep accurate records of production data, machine maintenance, and repairs.




- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaborating with other members of the manufacturing team to troubleshoot problems and ensure production schedules are met

Preferred candidate profile

- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable
- Should have a strong understanding of machining principles.
- Be comfortable using Solidcam software, and possess good mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
