Purpose of the Job
Doceree, the global leader in AI-powered precision marketing for life sciences, seeks a Senior Analyst for our Corporate Development / M&A; team in India. With 3-6 years of experience, you will focus on high-impact research, analysis, and modelling to fuel inorganic growth in health-tech, ad-tech, and pharma marketing. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Development, you will support target identification, financial evaluation, and strategic insights to accelerate Docerees product expansion and market dominance.
Key Responsibilities Research & Deal Sourcing Support
- Conduct proactive market mapping, thematic research, and competitive intelligence in health-tech, ad-tech, life-sciences, and digital pharma ecosystems to identify acquisition/investment targets aligned with strategic priorities
- Analyze industry trends, M&A; landscapes, and potential opportunities; maintain target databases and support pipeline tracking with market intelligence summaries for leadership
Financial Analysis & Modeling
- Build and refine financial models (DCF, comps, precedent transactions, accretion/dilution, scenarios/sensitivities) to assess deal viability, synergies, risks, and value creation
- Develop business cases, investment memos, and supporting analyses (financial, commercial, operational) to inform go/no-go decisions and executive presentations
Due Diligence & Execution Support
- Perform detailed due diligence research across financial, market,
technology, regulatory (HIPAA/GDPR), and competitive dimensions; synthesize findings into actionable insights
- Prepare pitch materials, teasers, CIM sections, and presentation decks; coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Product) and external advisors on analyses
Strategic Insights & Reporting
- Support strategic planning with data-driven recommendations on market prioritization, target screening, and capital allocation; track post-deal performance metrics
- Deliver quarterly reviews, competitive briefings, and research reports to the leadership team
Qualifications - Experience, Skills & Education
- 3-6 years in corporate development, investment banking, PE/VC, strategy consulting, equity research, or transaction advisory; exposure to M&A; (buy-side preferred) in tech/healthcare
- Bachelors in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related; MBA, CFA/CA (or pursuing) strongly preferred from top-tier institutions
- Experience in health-tech, ad-tech, SaaS, or digital health sectors; familiarity with cross-border deals
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced modeling), PowerPoint, and tools like CapIQ, PitchBook; Python/SQL a plus
- Network in tech/healthcare ecosystems helpful
