Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in Automation and Manual Testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java-based automation frameworks , Selenium , Playwright , and a solid understanding of SDLC and STLC .

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright .
- Perform manual testing for functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test data .
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Implement CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing .
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Ensure test coverage and maintain traceability.
- Report and track defects using tools like JIRA .
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to QA best practices.
- Should have the knowledge of OOPs principles.

Required Skills

- Programming: Java (mandatory)




- Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright
- Testing Types: Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, API Testing
- Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle, BDD Cucumber
- Version Control: Git
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins (preferred)
- Bug Tracking: JIRA or similar
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodology .
- Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter) is a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in QA (Automation + Manual) .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have

- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Familiarity with API automation and database testing .
