Role & responsibilities:

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright.
- Perform manual testing, including: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Integration Testing, Exploratory Testing, End-to-End Testing
- Analyze business requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and verify software defects using defect tracking tools.
- Execute UI and API testing to validate complete business workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Participate in release validation, production verification, and post-release quality checks.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing strategies, and QA processes.
- Independently manage QA activities for assigned projects from requirement analysis through production deployment.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance test design, automation development, debugging, documentation, and code generation.
- Contribute to improving overall product quality by identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in both Automation Testing and Manual Testing.




- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and executing various testing types.
- Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management and bug reporting.
- Experience working with issue tracking/ticketing systems.
- Experience in UI and API testing.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Experience with Playwright CLI and AI-assisted automation workflows.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as: Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT or similar AI development tools
- Experience with Jira for project and defect management.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic understanding of Git version control.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
