Role & responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures and standards for plastic and sheet metal components to ensure that all products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections, and testing on finished products to verify their conformance to specifications and standards.
- Making PDIR and other quality inspection reports.
- Carry out testing of cable assemblies using numerous testing machines such as Interferon meter, IL/OL testing, etc.
- Responsible for training new operators regarding polishing and testing processes.
- Comprehending product drawings and product quality specifications as per pre-defined standards.
- Interface with customers to address quality-related inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Collaborate with the customer support teams to understand customer requirements and expectations.
- Using measuring instruments such as a micrometer, vernier, height gauge etc.
- Responsible for maintaining 5S and continuous improvements through Kaizens.
- Investigate any non-conformities related to product quality, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Work closely with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues, and ensure that all quality control procedures are followed.




- Train and educate employees on quality control procedures and processes, and provide guidance on quality-related matters.
- Analyze data and generate reports on quality trends, defects, and non-conformances, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Making quality related documents such as 8D, why why analysis, CAPA, 7QC tools, 5S, Kaizen etc.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant industry and regulatory standards and requirements, such as ISO 9001 and UL standards.
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude towards quality, and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3 Year Diploma/B.Tech in mechanical or electronics
- Knowledge about testing equipment such as Interferon meters, IL/OL testing machines, polishing machines, etc.
- Understanding of product quality specs as per standards
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant industry standards.
- Thorough knowledge of defects, and countermeasures related to precision plastic and sheet metal components
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Positive communication skills in written and verbal English
- Strong Knowledge about MS Office
