Role: QA Engineer Mobile Testing (Manual + Automation)

Key Responsibilities

1. Manual Testing

Functional Testing

- Verify new feature implementations on Android and iOS.
- Execute smoke, sanity, regression, and UAT test cycles.
- Validate feature behavior against business requirements.
- Perform exploratory testing for edge cases.

Cross Device Testing

OEM Compatibility Testing

Bug Reporting

Create detailed bug reports including:

- Summary
- Steps to Reproduce
- Expected Result
- Actual Result
- Device Information
- OS Version
- Screenshots
- Screen Recordings
- Log Attachments

- Linear

2. Automation Testing

Framework Ownership

Required Skills

Must Have

- 2+ years of Android and iOS mobile testing experience.
- Experience testing React Native applications.
- Solid understanding of mobile release processes.
- Hands-on experience with Detox, Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
- Experience with Firebase services.
- Push notification testing experience.
- Payment gateway testing experience (Razorpay preferred).
- API testing using Postman.
- Debugging using:
- ADB
- Logcat
- Xcode Console




- Strong bug reporting and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

- Fastlane experience.
- Bitrise CI/CD experience.
- CleverTap analytics validation.
- Financial/Trading domain experience.
- Understanding of SEBI-regulated products.
- Basic JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge.
- Experience reading React Native logs.

Ownership & KPIs

Release Sign-Off

Responsible for final QA approval before:

- Android Production Release
- iOS App Store Release

Regression Ownership

- Maintain regression test suite.
- Ensure critical flows remain stable.

Automation Ownership

- Grow automation coverage.
- Reduce manual testing effort.
