- Support the Head Tendering in managing the complete tendering function for AB Cables, PVC LT Cables, XLPE LT Cables, XLPE HT Cables products across Utilities, DISCOMs, Government Departments, EPC Contractors, Railways, Renewable Energy, Industrial, and International projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and monitor tender opportunities through GeM, e-procurement portals, utility websites, and other procurement platforms to maximize business opportunities and order inflow.
- Conduct detailed techno-commercial evaluation of tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, qualification requirements, commercial terms, and contractual conditions, and prepare bid evaluation summaries for management review.
- Support the development of competitive bidding strategies by analysing customer requirements, competitor offerings, historical pricing, market trends, manufacturing capabilities, and project risks to improve bid conversion.
- Manage all GeM Portal activities, including product catalogue management, approvals, bid identification, bid participation, compliance, and timely submission of bids.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Production, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Commercial, and Sales teams to obtain technical, commercial, and costing inputs required for preparation of competitive and compliant bids.
- Prepare and review complete technical and commercial bid documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable IS/IEC standards, customer specifications, utility requirements, and tender conditions.
- Coordinate pre-bid activities including technical clarifications, deviations, Tender Fee, EMD, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Qualification Requirements (PQR), and statutory documentation.
- Respond to customer techno-commercial queries, deviation requests,



and bid clarifications while supporting negotiations during pre-award and post-award stages.
- Liaise with utilities, consultants, inspection agencies, government authorities, EPC contractors, and customers to ensure timely resolution of tender-related matters.
- Track tender progress from bid submission through evaluation, LOI, Purchase Order, EMD release, and contract award, ensuring smooth coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare commercial offers, cost sheets, price analysis, comparative statements, and management reports to support pricing decisions and improve bid competitiveness.
- Maintain tender databases, MIS reports, bid trackers, and order pipeline dashboards while analysing bid success rates, customer trends, competitor activities, and tender performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by standardizing tendering processes, strengthening documentation practices, enhancing compliance, and improving bid quality and turnaround time.
- Assist the Head Tendering in achieving departmental objectives, improving tender win ratios, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting sustainable business growth within the Power Cable business.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in any field (Electrical Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in tendering or commercial roles in the electrical or manufacturing sector (preferably in power transmission).
- Strong understanding of Power Cables (AB Cables, PVC LT Cables, XLPE LT Cables, XLPE HT Cables) and industry standards.
- Excellent knowledge of tendering procedures in domestic and international markets.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and tender portals.
- Robust communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
