About Us

We are a fast-growing Australian sportswear business specializing in custom team wear, supporter wear, and performance apparel for clubs, academies, schools, and sporting organisations.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Sportswear Graphic & Production Designer who can take ownership of the artwork process from concept through to factory-ready production files.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative design and technical production work and is looking to grow into a leadership position in the future. As the business expands, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help build systems, mentor junior designers, and lead a growing design team.

Role & Responsibilities

- Create custom sportswear designs for clubs, teams, schools, and sporting organisations
- Design jerseys, shorts, training wear, basketball uniforms, polo shirts, jackets, supporter wear, and other apparel
- Develop professional mock ups and customer presentation visuals
- Apply logos, sponsors, names, and numbers accurately across multiple garment styles
- Create colourways and design variations based on customer requirements

Production Artwork

- Prepare print-ready artwork files for sublimation production
- Create garment panel artwork according to factory specifications
- Set up names, numbers, sponsor logos, and customization requirements accurately
- Ensure artwork is production-ready before release to manufacturing
- Maintain consistency in colours, branding, logo placement, and sizing

Production Support

- Liaise with production teams regarding artwork requirements




- Resolve artwork-related manufacturing issues
- Review files for accuracy before printing
- Manage revisions and customer change requests efficiently
- Ensure all jobs meet quality standards

Artwork & Systems Management

- Maintain organised artwork folders, templates, and logo libraries
- Build and improve reusable artwork templates and workflows
- Maintain production records and version control
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the design department

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 3 to 6 years experience in sportswear, activewear, teamwear, or custom apparel design
- Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of sublimation printing processes
- Experience preparing production-ready garment artwork
- Experience working with garment panels and print layouts
- Strong understanding of sportswear construction and apparel manufacturing workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and file management practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Good written and spoken English communication skills
