ROLE OVERVIEW
Mobilab is looking for a senior Field Operations Manager to take complete end-to-end ownership of client accounts, each with up to 500-1000
deployed devices spread pan-India. This role is the single point of accountability for everything that keeps a deployed fleet running: installation,
training, technical support, reagent and device logistics, software/hardware upgrades, clinical troubleshooting, and client relationship management.
You will manage a team of 2025 field lab technicians and be the face of Mobilab to doctors, patients, technicians, and clinic/hospital owners.
This is not a break-fix service role. It is a regional operations leadership role you own the account's outcomes, not just individual tickets. If a
device is down, a reagent is delayed, or a client is unhappy, the account owner is the first and last name that matters, and that is you.
A TYPICAL MONTH LOOKS LIKE
Review device uptime and reagent stock status across all deployed sites for the account; flag and resolve supply risks before they cause
downtime
¢
¢
¢
¢
¢
Travel to priority sites for installations, demos, or performance validation studies meeting doctors, lab heads, and clinic owners directly
Lead or oversee resolution of clinical/diagnostic troubleshooting escalations that field technicians cannot close independently
Run training and knowledge-transfer sessions for field technicians on new software releases, hardware updates, or SOP changes
Review team performance across the 1520 technician group coaching, scheduling, and escalation handling
Reconcile petty cash and field expense reports for the account's operations
Report account health (uptime, open issues, client satisfaction) to leadership on a regular cadence

Timely reagent, hardware, and software support with no client-side delays
Technician team performance, discipline, and skill development
Client satisfaction doctors, technicians, and clinic/hospital owners
Accurate petty cash and field expense documentation
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
You've spent 5-8 years in IVD or diagnostics field operations and have already managed a team of technicians, not just your own workload. You're
equally comfortable training a junior technician on a new software release and standing next to a doctor during a live device demo or breakdown.
You understand diagnostic and clinical troubleshooting well enough to make the right call without a pathologist on-site, and you know that in this
role, an unresolved reagent delay or an untrained technician is ultimately your problem to solve not someone else's escalation to wait on.
This role directly addresses Mobilab's need for a single accountable owner of field uptime, client relationships, and technician performance across large deployed
accounts.
