Role & responsibilities

1. Multi-Store Level Accounting Management

Independently handle accounting operations for multiple retail stores

Oversee daily store-level accounting including sales, cash, card, UPI, and bank reconciliations

Monitor store-wise profitability and expense control

Ensure proper accounting of store expenses, petty cash, and vendor payments

Coordinate with store managers for daily sales reporting and reconciliation

Standardize accounting processes across all store locations

2. Financial & Accounting Management

Manage overall day-to-day accounting operations (online + offline)

Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and periodic reconciliations

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions

Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing

3. E-commerce & Marketplace Accounting

Handle accounting for online platforms and marketplaces

Reconcile marketplace settlements, payment gateways, commissions, returns, and refunds

Track receivables from various online channels





Maintain proper documentation of digital transactions

4. Inventory & Stock Reporting

Monitor inventory accounting across multiple stores and warehouses

Conduct store-wise stock reconciliation and variance analysis

Ensure proper stock valuation and reporting

Coordinate with operations team for stock audits

5. Financial Reporting & MIS

Prepare store-wise and consolidated financial reports

Monthly MIS, profitability analysis (store-wise & channel-wise)

Budgeting and forecasting support

Provide management insights through financial analysis

6. Customer Account Handling

Manage customer outstanding and credit accounts

Monitor receivables and follow-ups

7. Compliance & Audit

Ensure GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances

Handle internal and statutory audits

Maintain proper accounting documentation and SOP compliance
