Role & Responsibilities

- Maintain a database of Suppliers, Manufactures and Purchase/Procurement related misc. documents
- Work with Suppliers, manufactures and internal departments.
- Should have knowledge of construction company material.
- To manage end to end procurement process in terms of understanding requirements, finding
- suppliers, negotiations and ensuring supplies are received bringing value to the organization in terms of cost, quality and time.
- Send the enquiries to manufacturers and seek competitive commercial offer and prepare comparison report and analysis as per terms and conditions.
- Develop a Strategic Plan for establishing a local network of Suppliers of civil related Raw Materials
- New vendor development & should work with the existing vendors and manage relationship/ contracts.
- Should aim to achieve cost reduction while maintaining or improving the quality of supplies and services.




- Negotiating with the vendors for competitive prices without compromising on the quality of
- the product.
- Negotiation with suppliers for cost effective procurement of finished formulations

Preferred candidate profile

- Candidate must be with min 18-20 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement functions in the construction sector.
- Must have experience of working with an organization with a minimum turnover of 150 Cr.
- Should be Self-driven, valuable negotiator, Street-smart, Team player, Out-of-the-box-thinker, Open to unlearn/relearn.
- A candidate shall have good knowledge of Excel/spreadsheet etc.
- Should have effective communication and Comprehension skill.
- Should be able to take up the responsibility and experience of managing other functions of construction area Purchase/ Procurement Department.
