PostgreSQL:-

- Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL/MS Sql/MySQL databases (onprem & cloud).
- Perform backup/restore using pgBackRest, pg_dump, WAL archiving.
- Implement and manage high availability: Streaming Replication, Patroni, Failover Manager.
- Optimize database performance: indexing, query tuning, vacuum/analyze tuning.
- Plan and execute version upgrades and migrations.
- Configure monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, pgAdmin, EFM).
- Manage roles, privileges, SSL, encryption, database hardening.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide L3 support.
- Work with developers for schema design, query optimization, and SQL review.
- Strong SQL skills and PL/pgSQL knowledge.
- Experience with PostgreSQL 9.x / 11+ / 17+.
- Expertise in replication, PITR, and disaster recovery.
- Robust Linux administration background.
- Experience with cloud DB (AWS RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL, Azure PostgreSQL) is a plus.
