Role & responsibilities

- Run day-to-day air freight operations for import and export shipments OBC, NFO, air charters and general air cargo, from booking to final delivery.
- Coordinate nominated cargo agent-to-agent with airlines, WCA partners and overseas agents.
- Handle air pricing, quotations and rate comparisons; negotiate competitive rates with airlines and agents.
- Coordinate with airport cargo teams, customs brokers, transporters and internal teams for smooth, on-time execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation, AWB details, DSRs and customer updates; ensure customs and airline-security compliance.
- At Assistant Manager and above: run branch operations, guide the team and own SOPs and service quality.

Preferred candidate profile

- Hands-on experience in air freight forwarding and air cargo operations, inside a freight forwarding,



air cargo or express company.
- Air freight focus specifically. Candidates from ocean/sea or surface freight backgrounds are not preferred.
- Comfortable with high-volume, time-critical operations and coordinating across airlines, agents, customs brokers and airport teams.
- Exposure to air pricing, quotations or rate negotiation a robust plus, especially for senior levels.
- Familiarity with WCA / nominated cargo, OBC, NFO, INCOTERMS, HS codes, DGR and systems like CargoWise or Logi-Sys is an advantage.
- Comfortable with rotational shifts and airport-area work. Level (Executive to Senior Manager) set by the experience you bring.
