We are looking for a young, motivated and well-organised Environment Communication Manager to support CMS VATAVARAN s communication, project writing, event coordination, film festival work and environment outreach activities.

The candidate should have valuable understanding of environmental issues, strong writing skills, project coordination experience and interest in films, events, youth engagement and communication.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Support communication and outreach for CMS VATAVARAN projects, festivals, forums and campaigns.
- Write concept notes, proposals, reports, newsletters, social media posts, press notes and website content.
- Assist in project planning, implementation, documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate with partners, institutions, filmmakers, speakers, vendors, youth groups and other stakeholders.
- Support organisation of film festivals, screenings, workshops, forums, meetings and public events.
- Manage event logistics, participant coordination, databases and follow-ups.
- Help with social media, newsletters, digital communication and basic multimedia content.




- Support communication and coordination work for IUCN #NatureForAll when and if required.
- Prepare event reports, meeting notes, impact documents and other project records.

Skills Required

- Good understanding of environmental and sustainability issues.
- Strong writing and communication skills in English.
- Good coordination and organisational skills.
- Ability to write proposals, reports, emails and communication material.
- Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Google Workspace
- social media platforms
- Basic knowledge of Canva, video editing or design tools will be an advantage.

Compensation

Compensation would be as per the industry preference and commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history of the selected candidate.
