Responsibility

Manager / Assistant Manager FA will be responsible for the following functions:

Financial Accounting Statutory Compliance

- Manage end-to-end financial accounting and book closure in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards and Companies Act requirements.
- Prepare annual financial statements, schedules, and supporting reports.
- Manage FCRA accounting, reporting, utilization tracking, and statutory compliances.
- Review General Ledger balances and ensure accuracy of books of accounts.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF ESIC, ROC filing and all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
- Maintain strong internal financial controls and compliance documentation.
- Support annual statutory audit, tax audit, and other financial reviews.

Startups Reporting Compliance

- Develop and maintain dashboards for startup investments, fund utilization, compliance status, and portfolio monitoring.
- Follow up with startups for financial reporting, including Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, Statutory Compliances, Change in Shareholding and other relevant financial documents.
- Support the valuation of start-ups, including liquidation analysis, pre- and post-money valuation assessments, and participate in valuation negotiations, incl. end-to-end deal execution closure.
- Coordinate with Company Secretary startups to ensure timely submission of pre- and post-funding documentation.
- Resolve finance and compliance-related queries from portfolio startups.

Budgeting,



MIS Management Reporting

- Coordinate and perform quarterly PnL, Cash Flow and Budget including variance analysis explanations of changes.
- Preparation of Project Budgets obtain necessary approvals from the Vertical Head / Management
- Prepare project-wise, vertical-wise, cost centre-wise, and organization-wide financial dashboards.
- Prepare the Company s Annual Budgets along with presentation on financial overview of it.
- Consolidation and Reporting of Data to Department of Science and Technology/IIT Delhi on a quarterly, bi-annually and annual basis.

Support in Other FA KRAs

- Contribute to various finance-driven process improvement initiatives and support special projects.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements across finance operations.
- Support the team in troubleshooting discrepancies and enhancing processes for more accurate financial reporting.
- Support other day-to-day operations of the Finance Accounting function.

Role Description

The Manager / Assistant Manager FA will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of IHFCs financial operations. The incumbent will work closely with senior management, verticals, startups, auditors, government agencies,



and other stakeholders to support financial accounting, statutory compliance, grant management, startup investments, and reporting.

The role demands strong attention to detail, stakeholder management skills, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic mission-driven environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Prior experience in IT/ITES/Service Industries/Section-8 Companies/NGOs or any other related industry.
- Proven experience in Financial Accounting, FCRA, financial reporting and analysis, especially half-yearly and yearly reviews.
- Solid "Can-Do" attitude with the ability to handle complex assignments independently.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally / QuickBooks)
- Expertise in Advanced MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

Qualification :

- Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates with MBA (Finance), CMA (inter), or CA (Inter).

Years of experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in FA functions.

Reporting: The position will be reporting to the Head - Finance
