Position: Manager MIS
Department : Sales & Revenue
Reports To GM Sales & Revenue
Job Summary
The Manager MIS (Sales, Revenue & Data Analytics) is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting sales, revenue, and business performance data across hotel operations. The role focuses on developing accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports, dashboards, forecasts, and analytical insights that support strategic decision-making, improve revenue performance, and enhance sales productivity.
Key Responsibilities
MIS Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and automate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual MIS reports.
- Prepare sales performance reports, revenue summaries, occupancy reports, ADR, RevPAR, and market analysis reports.
- Ensure timely distribution of reports to management and business stakeholders.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting systems.
Sales Analytics
- Analyze sales performance by hotel, region, segment, channel, and sales team.
- Track achievement against sales targets and budgets.
- Monitor lead conversion, booking trends, cancellations, and customer acquisition metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales productivity through data-driven insights.
Revenue Analytics
- Analyze occupancy, room revenue, F&B; revenue, banquet revenue, and ancillary revenue.
- Monitor key hotel KPIs including:
- Occupancy %
- ADR (Average Daily Rate)
- RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room)
- TRevPAR
- GOPPAR
- Average Length of Stay
- Booking Pace
- Pickup Analysis
- Market Segment Performance
- Support revenue forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Identify revenue leakage and recommend corrective actions.
Data Analysis & Business Intelligence
- Collect, clean, validate, and interpret large datasets from PMS, CRS, POS, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Build dashboards using BI tools for real-time business monitoring.
- Perform trend analysis, variance analysis, forecasting, and predictive reporting.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on business data.
- Present analytical findings to senior management through reports and presentations.
Dashboard Development
- Design interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
- Automate reporting processes to reduce manual effort.
- Monitor key business indicators in real time.
Database & System Management
- Coordinate data extraction from hotel management systems.
- Ensure proper maintenance of MIS databases.
- Validate data quality and resolve discrepancies with relevant departments.
- Support system enhancements related to reporting and analytics.
Business Support
- Assist Sales, Revenue, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams with analytical reports.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses based on management requirements.
- Recommend process improvements using data insights.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 712 years of experience in MIS, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Revenue Analytics, or Sales Analytics.
- Experience in the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
- Experience working with hotel PMS, POS, CRS, or Revenue Management Systems is an advantag
