Linux L2 Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Linux L2 Engineer with hands-on experience in Linux system administration, Zimbra Mail Server, Nagios, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Grafana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining Linux-based infrastructure, troubleshooting production issues, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability and reliability of enterprise applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
- Perform L2 support activities, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Zimbra Collaboration Suite.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications using Nagios.
- Configure and manage ELK Stack for centralized log collection, analysis, and visualization.
- Develop and maintain Grafana dashboards for infrastructure and application monitoring.
- Troubleshoot server, network, and application-related issues.

Required Skills





- Solid knowledge of Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Hands-on experience with Zimbra Mail Server administration.
- Experience configuring and managing Nagios monitoring.
- Good knowledge of ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Experience creating dashboards and alerts in Grafana.
- Knowledge of system performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, SMTP, SSH, NFS, and firewall concepts.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.
- Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Ansible or other automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP..
