Job Summary
We are hiring on behalf of one of our esteemed clients for the position of L2 Technical Network Engineer. We are looking for experienced networking professionals with hands-on expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching and Service Provider/ISP network environments. The role involves installation, integration, migration, troubleshooting, software upgrades, and technical support for network infrastructure projects across India and overseas.

- Employment Type: Permanent (Project-based contractual engagement may be considered, if required.)
- CTC/Salary: As per industry standards and commensurate with the candidate's experience and technical expertise.
- Work Mode: On-site / Hybrid / Remote (Depending on the client's project requirements.)

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, rack & stack, integration, and commissioning of multi-vendor routers and switches.
- Execute IOS/IOS-XR software upgrades and patch installations during maintenance windows.
- Support chassis migration, line card replacement, and hardware upgrade activities.
- Configure and troubleshoot OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, STP/RSTP, VTP, and EtherChannel/LACP.
- Execute traffic migration, service shifting, backbone cutover, and rollback activities.
- Prepare, review, and execute Method of Procedure (MOP) documents.
- Perform pre- and post-implementation validation checks.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, and MPLS-related issues.
- Coordinate with NOC/TAC teams for issue resolution.




- Prepare migration reports, RCA reports, and implementation documentation.
- Provide technical support for client projects across India and overseas.
- Participate in maintenance windows and emergency support activities.

- Ability to work independently during maintenance windows.
- Valuable troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for project implementation across India and overseas.

Educational Qualification
Graduate in Engineering/Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline is preferred.
CCNA / CCNP certification will be an added advantage.
