A ServiceNow Project Manager leads the end to end delivery of ServiceNow implementations and enhancements, defining scope, timelines, and resources while managing stakeholders, risks, and budgets, often using Agile/Scrum methods, coordinating technical teams (developers, architects, BAs), and ensuring project alignment with business goals, requiring strong communication, PMP/Scrum Master certifications, and deep understanding of ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, etc., to deliver successful platform transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

Develop project plans, WBS, schedules, and roadmaps; manage scope, budget, and resources for ServiceNow projects.

Stakeholder & Client Management:

Serve as the main point of contact, manage expectations, and provide regular status updates to clients and senior leadership.

Team Leadership:

Coordinate cross functional teams (developers, BAs, QA, architects) and foster collaboration.

Methodology Adherence:

Implement and guide teams in Agile/Scrum practices, facilitating ceremonies like stand ups, sprint planning,



and retrospectives.

Risk & Issue Management:

Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies.

Quality & Governance:

Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, platform standards, and quality expectations.

Documentation:

Prepare project documentation, status reports, dashboards, and meeting minutes.

Platform Expertise:

Leverage understanding of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD) and platform architecture.

Key Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in IT project management, with significant focus on ServiceNow implementations.
Certifications: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are often preferred.
Methodologies: Robust background in Agile, Scrum, and ITIL frameworks.
Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Tools: Familiarity with PM tools like JIRA, Asana, MS Project.
