Job Title: Rail Site Engineer ARDS / MVIS Deployment
(AI-Based Rolling Stock Inspection)

About the Role:
Pradivya is deploying its proprietary ARDS (Artificial Intelligence-based Rolling Stock
Defect Detection & Surveillance) platform to transform railway safety and predictive
maintenance.
We are looking for a hands-on Rail Site Engineer to lead on-ground execution of
ARDS/MVIS installations, ensuring seamless integration of AI cameras, high-speed imaging
systems, and sensor networks within live railway environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. ARDS / MVIS System Deployment

Execute end-to-end installation of wayside inspection systems, including:
o

High-speed AI cameras
Thermal / line-scan cameras
Illumination systems and triggers

Ensure exact alignment and calibration for accurate defect detection (wheel, axle,
brake, hanging parts, etc.)
Oversee installation of sensor arrays synchronized with train movement
2. Trackside Civil & Structural Coordination

Supervise construction of mounting structures, gantries, and equipment housings
Ensure correct positioning with respect to track geometry and rolling stock clearance
Coordinate with railway civil teams for foundation, trenching, and protection works
3. Electrical & Networking Integration

Ensure reliable power supply (UPS, backup systems) for mission-critical inspection
systems
¢

Oversee routing of cables (power + data), earthing, and surge protection
Coordinate network setup (fiber/4G/5G) for real-time data transfer to cloud/command




center
4. AI System Commissioning & Validation

Support integration of hardware with Pradivyas AI models and analytics platform
Conduct field testing with moving trains to validate:

Image capture quality at speed
Detection accuracy of defects
o

Troubleshoot hardware/software issues in coordination with central tech teams
5. Railway Stakeholder Management

Liaise with Indian Railways officials, depot managers, and inspection teams
Facilitate site access, safety approvals, and operational coordination
Participate in joint inspections, demos, and technical reviews with railway authorities
6. Site Operations & Uptime Management

Take ownership of day-to-day site performance of ARDS/MVIS systems
Monitor system health, data flow, and alert mechanisms
Perform preventive maintenance and rapid issue resolution to ensure high uptime
7. Safety & Compliance (Critical)

Ensure strict adherence to railway safety norms during installation and maintenance
Manage work in live track environments with proper permissions and protocols
Enforce PPE usage and zero-incident execution culture
Required Qualifications:

Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Civil Engineering
26 years of experience in:

Railway / metro / infrastructure projects
CCTV / machine vision / industrial automation systems
o

Core Skills:

Strong understanding of field deployment in dynamic environments (moving
assets)
Hands-on experience with:

IP cameras, sensors, industrial hardware
Electrical wiring, grounding, and site power systems

Ability to troubleshoot real-time system issues under operational constraints
Effective coordination with government and multi-agency stakeholders
Preferred Experience:

Experience with wayside inspection systems / rolling stock monitoring

Prior work with Indian Railways or PSU projects
