Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Project Lead- Technology to support the delivery and management of end-to-end implementation of technology edtech initiatives across Room to Read operating countries. This role will be responsible for, working at the intersection of education, technology, and AI-enabled solutions.
Reporting into global technology leadership, the role requires strong project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work across internal teams, vendors, and international partners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on complex, multi-country education technology initiatives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management:
- Assist in the planning and management of project schedule, milestones, deliverables, and risks
- Track project progress and prepare regular updates and reports for leadership
- Prepare and plan for app training to cross-functional team end app users
- Coordinate with technology team, cross-functional teams, external vendors other stakeholders on project delivery and implementation plans
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders
Other responsibilities:
- Coordinate project related procurement
- Support partner onboarding and scheduling project cadence
- Support pilots, rollouts, and app expansion to other regions, as required
- Deeply understanding functional application requirements and convert into technical language
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Project Management, Education Technology or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management,
project coordination, or technology-enabled programs
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
- Proven ability to support complex projects in dynamic environments
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies
Preferred:
- Prior experience in EdTech, education programs, or learning solutions
- Exposure to AI-driven or data-enabled applications
- Ability to understand AI capabilities, limitations, and risks, including data privacy, ethics, and responsible AI use
- Experience working on international or multi-country projects
- Certifications in AI, project management, or related fields

Project Management Expectations
- Hands-on experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or hybrid models
- Ability to manage complex project plans involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and international teams
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or equivalent)
- Strong ability to balance scope, timelines, and quality in dynamic project environments
Mobility Requirement
Candidates must be open to relocating to Delhi/NCR if not already based there and willing to travel domestically and internationally,
as required by the project.
Employment Terms
This is a fixed-term, project-based contractual role, aligned with the project duration which currently is until December 2027. Continuation beyond the project is subject to organizational needs, funding availability, and performance.
