Role Overview

- The Fleet Incharge will be responsible for managing day-to-day first-mile operations at the assigned hub.
- This includes supervising riders and drivers, coordinating vehicle deployment, ensuring pickup SLA adherence, maintaining fleet productivity, and acting as the first point of contact for operational execution within the hub.

Key Responsibilities

- Fleet Operations
- Manage daily first-mile pickup operations from the assigned hub.
- Allocate pickup routes and shipments to riders and vehicles.
- Monitor pickup completion and ensure adherence to committed TATs.
- Optimize vehicle utilization and route productivity.
- Ensure timely reporting of pickup failures and operational exceptions.
- Team Management
- Supervise riders, drivers, and pickup associates.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and productivity.
- Conduct daily operational briefings.
- Train recent team members on operational SOPs and service standards.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and operational compliance.
- Hub Coordination
- Coordinate with hub operations for shipment receiving and dispatch.




- Ensure cargo readiness before dispatch.
- Maintain inventory of bags, seals, handheld devices, and operational assets.
- Coordinate vehicle loading and unloading activities.
- Vendor & Fleet Management
- Coordinate with attached fleet vendors and transport partners.
- Monitor vehicle availability and utilization.
- Validate trip sheets, fuel records, and fleet documentation.
- Report vehicle maintenance and operational issues.
- Customer & Operational Excellence
- Ensure high pickup success rates and customer satisfaction.
- Resolve pickup-related escalations.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Network Operations.
- Maintain operational hygiene and compliance within the hub.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily pickup and productivity reports.
- Maintain operational registers and fleet documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Support operational audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
