About the Role

We are hiring Cantonese Transcription Associates to work on AI data projects involving Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong - Cantonese) and English. The role involves listening to audio recordings, correcting AI-generated transcripts, identifying speakers, and ensuring highly accurate transcriptions according to project guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

- Transcribing Cantonese audio recordings accurately.
- Correcting AI-generated transcripts by identifying and fixing transcription errors.
- Writing exactly what each speaker says without summarizing or paraphrasing.
- Identifying and labeling different speakers (e.g., Speaker 1, Speaker 2).
- Marking language switching whenever speakers alternate between Cantonese, English, or other languages.
- Performing transliteration when instructed (e.g., writing Chinese words using English letters).
- Adding required metadata such as speaker labels, timestamps, language tags, and other project-specific information.
- Reviewing every transcript thoroughly before submission to ensure accuracy and compliance with project guidelines.

Project Details





- Audio files will typically be 5-10 minutes long.
- High accuracy and attention to detail are mandatory.
- Candidates must complete 100% self-review before submitting their work.

- Ability to follow detailed transcription guidelines.
- Prior transcription or data annotation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
