Job Summary

The Trading Head (Operations) is responsible for overseeing end-to-end trading operations across multiple exchanges, ensuring seamless execution, regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency. The role requires extensive knowledge of exchange regulations, trading systems, clearing and settlement processes, and team leadership to support the organization's broking business.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day trading operations for Equity, Derivatives, Currency, and Commodity segments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines issued by SEBI, NSE, BSE, MCX, CDSL, NSDL, and other applicable authorities.
- Monitor trade execution, order management, trade confirmation, clearing, and settlement activities.
- Ensure timely exchange reporting, regulatory submissions, and statutory compliance.
- Supervise RMS (Risk Management System) operations and monitor client and proprietary trading risks.
- Coordinate with exchanges, clearing corporations, depositories, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee client onboarding, KYC, account opening, and compliance with AML/PMLA requirements.
- Handle exchange inspections, internal audits, and regulatory audits, ensuring timely closure of observations.
- Develop and implement operational controls, SOPs, and process improvements.
- Monitor operational risk and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the trading operations team to achieve operational excellence.
- Coordinate with IT and technology teams for trading platform support and issue resolution.




- Ensure business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) readiness.
- Prepare MIS reports, management dashboards, and regulatory reports.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- NISM certifications relevant to trading operations and compliance are preferred.

Experience

- 815 years of experience in capital market operations, stock broking, or financial services.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing trading operations and exchange compliance.
- Experience working with NSE, BSE, and SEBI regulatory frameworks.
