Role & responsibilities

- Develop and optimize sewing processes for automotive seat covers.
- Plan and establish sewing production lines for new model development.
- Conduct sewing time studies and capacity planning.
- Support seat pattern tuning and continuous process improvement.
- Implement process controls and automation initiatives.
- Coordinate with production, quality, design, and cross-functional teams during product development.
- Ensure compliance with APQP, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Preferred candidate profile

- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience in sewing process engineering and sewing line setup
- Sewing time study and cycle time calculation
- Capacity calculation for sewing and production processes
- Automotive seat pattern development and pattern tuning knowledge
- Knowledge of process control systems and automation
- Understanding of APQP, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
- Positive communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to work in shifts and travel for development activities
- Exposure to CNC automatic fabric cutting machines such as Lectra, Shima Seiki or Bullmer is preferred
