Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professional for the
position of Associate Manager with at least 5?7 years of
relevant experience. The candidate should have a strong consulting background
and prior experience working with NRLM, NULM, or State Rural Livelihoods
Missions (SRLMs) is preferrable.

The role involves a mix of project implementation, research,
documentation, and business development, with approximately 40% engagement in project
implementation with the state-level livelihood and skill development projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management and Implementation

Support planning and execution of projects, especially those
related to livelihoods, rural development (NRLM/NULM/SRLM) and Skill
Development

Support in the execution of existing and upcoming projects
deliverables

Periodically coordinate with government stakeholders, department
officials, and field teams

Handhold and work closely with the project team and
coordinate on regular basis

Regularly monitor project progress, ensure quality
deliverables, and adherence to timelines

Travel to project locations, if required

2. Business Development





Support in preparing the project proposals for RFPs, EOIs,
Presentations, etc. including queries, technical writing, resource profiles and
bid documentation

Execute bid specific compliance requirements like EMDs, BGs,
PBGs, etc.

Contribute to relevant opportunity identification and market
research

Any other activities related to business development for
social sector projects

Willingness to travel for business development meetings

3. Research, Technical Support and Stakeholder Engagement

Develop approach notes, methodologies, concept notes, and
research reports based on the project type and sector

Conduct primary and secondary research, literature reviews,
field assessments, and data analysis in support of the approach concept
notes and methodologies

Contribute to project specific knowledge briefs, training
materials and modules, etc.

Stakeholder engagements with central/state government
departments, donors, and partners and facilitate meetings, workshops, and
consultations

4. Documentation and Reporting

Prepare high-quality reports, case studies, presentations,
and required documentation while ensuring clarity, structure, and qualified
quality in all written outputs





Capture project learnings, success stories, and best
practices to highlight the outcome and impact of the projects

Required Qualifications Experience

Master?s degree in Development Studies, Rural Development,
Public Policy, Economics, MBA or a related field

At least 5?7 years of experience, preferably in consulting/social
development sector

Prior experience with NRLM, NULM, or SRLM projects is
preferred

Strong understanding of livelihoods, SHGs, rural
institutions, skill development, etc.

Understanding of government structures and functioning

Skills Competencies

Excellent writing and documentation skills

Strong analytical and research abilities

Good understanding of development sector initiatives and
policies

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced
environment

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), AI and
latest work-use technologies

Ability to work both independently and in teams
