We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Developer with 8 to 13 years of experience in IT Service Management Configuration Management or IT Operations roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms. This position is located in Pune and Hyderabad.

Roles and Responsibility

- Support CMDB Strategy Architecture and define/maintain the CMDB strategy data model and architecture aligned with banking regulatory and operational requirements.

- Design configuration item CI classes, attributes, and relationships across infrastructure, applications, cloud, and third-party services.

- Ensure CMDB alignment with ITIL ITSM processes including Incident, Change, Problem, Release, and Asset Management.

- Enforce Data Quality Governance and monitor/improve CMDB data quality, including completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.

- Implement KPIs and dashboards for CMDB health and compliance.

- Lead implementation and optimization of automated discovery tools and integrate CMDB with upstream and downstream systems.

- Validate reconciliation rules and data normalization processes.

- Support regulatory and audit requirements, such as operational resilience and third-party risk management, and enable impact analysis dependency mapping and service visibility.

- Partner with Risk Compliance and Audit teams to ensure CMDB data supports control testing and evidence requests.

- Ensure CMDB is a trusted source for change impact analysis and service dependency mapping,



and embed CMDB usage into Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes.

- Support major incident management with accurate service and infrastructure relationships.

- Act as a subject matter expert SME for configuration management within the bank and mentor junior CMDB analysts or consultants.

- Advise senior stakeholders on CMDB maturity roadmap and value realization.

Job Requirements

- Deep expertise with enterprise CMDB platforms, such as ServiceNow, or equivalent.

- Robust understanding of IT infrastructure, servers, networks, storage, applications, and middleware.

- Experience with cloud platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

- Hands-on experience with discovery, reconciliation, and data normalization.

- Strong working knowledge of ITIL v3 or v4, particularly Configuration, Change, Incident, and Asset Management.

- Experience aligning CMDB with service mapping and business service models.

- Understanding of banking operational risk, resilience, and audit expectations.

- Proven experience operating in highly regulated large-scale enterprise environments.

- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT Service Management Configuration Management or IT Operations roles.

- At least 4 years of experience in a senior CMDB consultant or specialist role, preferably within banking or financial services.
