Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting press stamping tools (dies) to ensure smooth production, quality output, and minimum downtime.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Tool Maintenance & Repair

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of press tools and dies
- Troubleshoot issues related to die wear, misalignment, or damage
- Carry out sharpening, fitting, and replacement of tool components

2. Die Assembly & Tryout

- Assemble and set up dies for stamping operations
- Conduct die trials and ensure proper functioning before production
- Fine-tune dies to achieve required product specifications

3. Tool Improvement & Development





- Suggest modifications for better tool life and efficiency
- Assist in recent tool development and design changes
- Implement continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities

Required Skills

- Knowledge of press tools, dies, and stamping processes
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of CNC/lathe/milling machines (preferred)
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
