We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to oversee In-Process Quality Inspections in our manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, components, and purchased parts meet the defined quality standards before they are introduced into the production line. This role is critical in preventing defects and ensuring product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee in-process inspections of raw materials, parts, and components according to defined specifications and standards.
- Develop, review, and update inspection procedures, checklists, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, initiate corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain and analyze inspection records, generate reports, and monitor supplier performance metrics.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure non-conforming materials are identified and isolated to prevent production delays or defects.
- Perform audit activities on suppliers and incoming material handling processes.
Desired Candidate
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge latest quality standards (BIS), tools & inspection techniques
- Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, or quality management software is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
