We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Platform Administrator/Engineer to join our Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Snowflake Platform Administration, infrastructure automation, security, and performance optimization in enterprise production environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Snowflake production environments.
- Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and security best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Snowflake platform performance.
- Implement cost governance strategies, including warehouse optimization and resource monitoring.
- Automate Snowflake infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Configure observability and monitoring for Snowflake environments.
- Support platform upgrades, maintenance, and security compliance.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to ensure platform reliability.
- Optimize warehouse utilization, storage, and query performance.
- Evaluate and implement Snowflake Cortex capabilities where applicable.
Mandatory Skills
- 5- 8 years of IT experience with strong Snowflake Platform Administration experience.
- Hands-on experience administering Snowflake production environments.

- CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Snowflake Cortex capabilities.
- Experience with automation frameworks and scripting.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
