- Perform in-depth failure analysis on defective PCBAs and electronic components returned from production, testing, or field use.
- Identify root causes of failures using techniques such as visual inspection, X-ray, microscope analysis, ICT, functional testing, and boundary scan.
- Debug complex analog/digital/mixed-signal circuits using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and soldering stations.
- Document analysis results, generate detailed failure reports, and maintain a failure database for trend analysis.
- Support quality and manufacturing teams with ongoing reliability improvement efforts.
- Maintain ESD-protected lab environment and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of electronics components, circuit design, and PCBA manufacturing processes.
- Experience with soldering and rework of fine-pitch and SMT components.
- Proficient in using lab tools: oscilloscope, multimeter, LCR meter, logic analyzer, etc.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
