- Experience in Designing complex BIW upper body structures using CATIA including A/B/C/D pillars, roof bows, header rails, and roof panels using advanced surface and solid modeling.
- Develop and maintain master sections to define packaging space, interfaces, and clearance with interior trim, airbags, and glass.
- Performing tooling feasibility reviews for sheet metal stamping, deep drawing, and joining technologies (spot welding, structural adhesives, laser brazing).
- Optimize designs to meet global crash and safety requirements, .
- Experience in Styling studio to resolve geometric conflicts and work with CAE teams to implement structural reinforcement modifications.
- Applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) principles and perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure proper vehicle assembly.
