About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in manual testing and hands-on experience in automation testing using Playwright. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about ensuring high-quality product delivery through robust testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Perform manual testing to validate new features, bug fixes, and regression areas.
- Exposure to performance testing using tools such as JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner.
- Experience in API testing and validation using tools like Postman, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and product owners to understand requirements and define test coverage.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and test case design.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests across multiple browsers and platforms.




- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and QA processes.

Technical Skill set:

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automated tests.
- Positive understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with API testing (using Postman or similar tools).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualification:
2+ years of overall QA experience, with a mix of manual and automation testing.
