Role & responsibilities

- We are seeking a Wiring Harness Design Engineer with 36 years of experience in 3D Wiring Harness Routing using Siemens NX (UG NX).
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical harness routing, packaging, connector placement, harness flattening, and manufacturing documentation for automotive applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop 3D wiring harness routing using Siemens NX Routing. Create and modify 3D harness models, routing paths, and installation layouts.
- Perform vehicle packaging studies considering bend radius, clearances, clipping strategy, heat protection, and serviceability.
- Generate harness flattening, 2D drawings, installation drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with electrical architecture, vehicle integration,



packaging, manufacturing, testing, and supplier teams.
- Support prototype builds, validation activities, engineering changes (ECN/ECR), and product release.
- Ensure compliance with customer standards, quality requirements, and automotive design guidelines.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong proficiency in Siemens NX (UG NX).
- Hands-on experience in NX Routing (Electrical Routing Module).
- Experience in 3D Harness Routing and Packaging.
- Experience with Teamcenter or other PLM tools.
- Valuable understanding of automotive electrical architecture and wiring standards
