Role & responsibilities

1. Supervise daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.

2. Monitor machine operations and manpower utilization.

3. Allocate work to operators and production staff.

4. Ensure production is carried out according to the production plan.

5. Maintain product quality as per company standards.

6. Monitor production output and minimize rejection, rework, and wastage.

7. Ensure proper usage of raw materials and consumables.

8. Follow and enforce safety (EHS) rules and company policies.

9. Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments.

10. Handle machine breakdowns by coordinating with the maintenance team.

11. Maintain daily production reports, shift reports, and production records.

12. Train current employees on production processes and safety procedures.

13. Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and shift schedules.

14. Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing,



and continuous improvement activities.

15. Ensure timely completion of production orders and on-time delivery.

16. Identify production issues and take corrective and preventive actions.

17. Monitor inventory of raw materials and report shortages.

18. Ensure compliance with ISO, quality, and manufacturing standards.

19. Improve productivity, efficiency, and overall equipment utilization (OEE).

Preferred candidate profile

- Must have work experience in CNC, VMC, and SVC.
- Must have experience in the automotive components industry only.
- Educational qualification must be B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering only.
