Key Responsibilities

- Gather business requirements from logistics/supply chain stakeholders and translate them into SAP TM configuration
- Configure core TM building blocks: Freight Units, Freight Orders, Freight Bookings, Forwarding Orders/Settlement
- Design and configure transportation planning planning profiles, optimizer settings, capacity/vehicle resources, and carrier selection
- Configure freight costing and settlement: rate tables, calculation profiles, freight agreements, and charge management
- Set up transportation network master data: locations, means of transport, resources, schedules, and transportation lanes
- Integrate SAP TM with SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), and FI/CO for order-to-cash and procure-to-pay flows
- Configure integration with embedded TM in S/4HANA or standalone TM via CIF/qRFC interfaces
- Support carrier/business partner collaboration, tendering processes, and Event Management/Track & Trace
- Configure Transportation Charge Management (TCM) and settlement document flow to FI
- Work with dangerous goods management, transportation-relevant output determination, and document/label printing where required
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW)



and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT and cutover activities
- Provide production support, troubleshoot planning/optimizer/freight settlement issues, and resolve incidents
- Prepare documentation: business blueprints, configuration guides, test scripts, and training material
- Participate in client workshops for process design, logistics strategy, and solution walkthroughs

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP TM (standalone or S/4HANA embedded)
- Valuable understanding of integration points with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO
- Experience in at least 12 full-cycle SAP TM implementation or support projects
- Knowledge of freight order/forwarding order lifecycle, planning strategies, and optimizer concepts
- Understanding of freight costing, settlement, and charge calculation processes
- Familiarity with transportation network master data setup (locations, lanes, means of transport)
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- SAP certification in TM or S/4HANA Logistics is a plus
