Position Overview

We are looking for a detailed-oriented Credit & Cash Application Analyst to join our Global Accounts team. In this critical individual contributor role, you will manage cash applications, general ledger account reconciliations, daily bank clearings, financial reporting, and credit underwriting portfolios. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Commercial Finance, and Supply Chain teams to minimize credit risks and accelerate working capital health.

Key Responsibilities

- Cash Posting & Management: Execute daily cash application, recording, and processing of customer trade payments made via Wire, ACH, and check receipts into the GL.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank deposits against system records, managing unapplied, unidentified cash receipts and clearing open transactions.
- Discrepancy Investigation: Audit, code, and proactively resolve payment variations, including overpayments, short-pays, and commercial deduction disputes.
- Credit Evaluation:



Coordinate customer onboarding setups, conduct annual reviews of credit limits, update risk files, and recommend customer credit terms.
- AR Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly Accounts Receivable aging analysis reports and month-end close sub-ledger schedules for leadership review.
- Special Projects: Assist corporate credit managers with system optimization, process improvement pipelines, and internal SOX control audits.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Associate or undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of progressive experience within transactional accounting, accounts receivable, and data-driven corporate credit appraisal environments.
- ERP & Software Toolkit: Proficient technical knowledge working inside corporate ERPs (SAP or Oracle) and specialized collection automation layers (HighRadius, GetPaid, or Bectran).
- Analytical Skills: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data parsing) with a knack for sorting disparate transactional information.
- Process Excellence (Preferred): Prior certifications or exposure to Operational Excellence models like Lean or Six Sigma are a solid advantage

Work Environment & Shift

- Work Location: On-site at our office in Taramani, Chennai.
- Working Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST (European Shift window).
