Role & responsibilities

- Lead the collections team.
- Lay out the policies and processes and take actions in order to encourage timely payments or defaults.
- Be the owner of Collection for the account to manage by going on the field for collection by himself.
- Management and Presentation of collection MIS and regular performance review.
- Handle through the sales team members, the on-ground collection.
- Increase collection efficiency by minimizing delinquency % and NPA
- Ensure the development and achievement of short, medium and long-term plans of the collections teams are fully aligned with operational/business strategy while being cost-effective.
- Responsible for continuous process improvement plans.
- Creating and submitting a quarterly financial forecast for review by management.
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, fraud unit, risk, recent accounts, verification and legal for streamlining & effective collection operations.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a candidate from Gold loan NBFC or Unsecured lending start-up who comes with at least 10-15+ years of strong experience and having good knowledge of Collections.
