1. Role Summary
Business Manager Product Deployment & Commercialisation, Entity 1 Value Emissions Pvt. Ltd. This is a customer-facing commercial role: the mandate begins and ends at the customer end. The role owns the full journey from first customer conversation through to signed, commercial business it explicitly excludes any R&D;, laboratory, or internal engineering/back-end responsibility.
2. Mandate
Own the customer-facing journey from first technical conversation through to commercial deployment and signed business. Product development in this role means developing the commercial fit of Entity 1s technologies (RCPPR, R-MECC/RMECCR, Slag-to-VAPs) at each individual customer site not developing the underlying technology itself, which remains entirely with the technical team.
3. Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage industrial prospects across cement, steel, aluminium, and waste management sectors
Work with each customer to understand site-specific requirements and shape the commercial proposal accordingly
¢ Drive the full deal cycle: pitch technical walkthrough proposal MoU/LOI signed deal
¢ Own the customer relationship end-to-end through to commercial closure no handoff to a separate closer
¢ Coordinate logistics for site visits, demonstrations, and customer trials
¢ Report pipeline and conversion metrics to leadership
4. Requirements
Hard requirements
¢ Age under 40
¢ B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Metallurgical acceptable)




¢ Willingness to travel extensively this is a field-heavy, customer-site-heavy role
¢ Sound communication, both technical and commercial, across plant-floor and CXO audiences
¢ Demonstrated common sense and sound judgement, screened via scenario-based interview rather than resume claims
Preferred, not mandatory
¢ 38 years experience, ideally including direct customer-facing commercial exposure
¢ Prior exposure to waste-to-value, cement, steel, or refining sector customers
¢ Experience navigating PSU or large-industrial buying cycles
5. Compensation Band
Indicative CTC, Chennai-based, customer-facing commercial hire, 38 years relevant experience:
¢ Junior-mid: 913 LPA (35 yrs, first customer-facing commercial role)
¢ Target band: 1418 LPA (58 yrs, proven deal-closing track record with engineering credibility)
¢ Stretch: 2024 LPA (robust PSU/large-industrial closing history, ready day one)
Suggested structure: 7580% fixed / 2025% variable tied to pipeline conversion, to reward sustained customer-deal progress rather than only final signed value.
