Position: Senior AR Caller

Experience: 3 to 7 years

Shift Timings: 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST

Mode of Work: Work from Office

Work Location: Chennai - Valasaravakkam

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior AR Caller with a minimum of 3 years of experience in US Medical Billing. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), insurance claim follow-up, denial management, and payment posting. The candidate must be capable of handling payer calls independently and ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding medical claims.
- Analyze and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims.
- Review EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERAs to identify payment issues.
- Work on aging reports to reduce outstanding AR.
- Handle appeals and claim resubmissions based on payer guidelines.
- Ensure maximum reimbursement by resolving claim-related issues promptly.
- Document all actions and call outcomes accurately in the billing system.




- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve coding and billing discrepancies.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the organization.
- Stay updated with payer policies, HIPAA regulations, and industry standards.

Required Skills

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in US Healthcare AR Calling.
- Robust understanding of Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Experience handling Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Workers' Compensation, and Auto Insurance payers.
- Strong denial management and appeals experience.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience with multiple specialties is an added advantage.
