Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Incharge – Mechanical to oversee and manage the Ash Handling Plant (AHP) operations and maintenance at our Thermal Power Plant. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience in AHP systems, with a proven track record in team leadership, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal plant availability and performance.

* Lead and manage the overall *Operations & Maintenance (O&M;)* activities of the Ash Handling Plant (AHP) at Head Office

* Plan, coordinate, and monitor AHP O&M; projects, ensuring timely execution, quality standards, and adherence to client requirements.

* Manage site operations to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and performance of AHP mechanical systems.

* Supervise preventive, predictive, corrective, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance activities.

* Coordinate with clients, plant operations,



engineering teams, and internal stakeholders for smooth execution of O&M; activities.

* Manage and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance activities, material supply, equipment servicing, and project execution.

* Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and quality requirements.

* Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.

* Oversee maintenance planning, manpower deployment, and resource utilization to achieve operational targets.

* Ensure timely availability of spare parts, consumables, and maintenance tools through effective inventory and vendor management.

* Prepare project schedules, maintenance plans, progress reports, MIS reports, and client updates.

* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental norms, and company safety policies.

* Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments before maintenance and project activities.

* Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contract workforce to achieve operational excellence.

* Monitor maintenance KPIs, project milestones, equipment performance, and maintenance costs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

* Support commissioning, annual overhauls, shutdown planning, and performance improvement projects related to the Ash Handling Plant.
