As part of our expanding Engineering Design division, we are looking for Graduate Trainee Engineers Mechanical to join our innovative team. This is a full-time, office-based opportunity at our Ahmedabad or Chennai location.
Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and creative mechanical engineering graduates who are eager to build their careers in design engineering and Automation. The role offers hands-on experience with AutoCAD and related design software, focusing on the development of furniture models and designs aligned with market trends, cost efficiency, and manufacturing feasibility.
Selected candidates will receive extensive training and mentorship to strengthen their design innovation, technical drawing, and product development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D/3D models and drawings using SolidWorks
- Work on basic design tasks and support ongoing projects
- Learn and apply programming to automate repetitive design work
- Assist in developing simple automation tools or macros
- Maintain design standards and documentation
- Work closely with the team to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks (3D modeling, assembly, drawing)
- Knowledge of any programming language (Python / C++ / C# / VBA, etc.)
- Good understanding of engineering drawing concepts
- Basic problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Certification in SolidWorks or any CAD software
- Exposure to programming through projects
- Basic knowledge of design automation concepts
