Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Engineer with strong experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems, APIs, and distributed applications. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Python development, modern backend frameworks, cloud-native technologies, and experience working with intelligent application workflows and modern AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Build high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
- Develop and optimize database-driven applications with focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Design and implement microservices and distributed systems following industry best practices.
- Integrate external services, enterprise platforms, and third-party APIs.
- Build and maintain asynchronous processing workflows using messaging and task queue frameworks.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
- Develop secure, observable, and production-ready applications with appropriate logging, monitoring, and testing.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and platform teams.
- Implement intelligent workflows involving large language models, retrieval systems, and automation capabilities within enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis and performance improvements.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of hands-on Python development experience.




- Robust experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong understanding of REST API design and backend architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous processing frameworks such as Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving and coding skills.
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or agent-based application frameworks.
- Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Milvus, or Azure AI Search.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Exposure to observability, monitoring, and performance optimization tools.
