Responsibilities

- The job involves checking and correcting mechanical errors and inconsistencies, infelicities of grammar usage, syntax punctuation and errors in content following publisher guidelines or other style guides such as Chicago Manual of Style, APA, and MLA.
- Ensure timely delivery amp Meet quality standards as set for the role.
- The copy editor is also expected to work closely with authors and the publisher to produce high-quality books that meet the needs to the intended audience.
- The job also involves liaising with the author, getting the copy-edited files reviewed from them, cleaning up the author-reviewed copy-edited files, and delivering them on time.

Experience:





1 to 4 yrs in Style and Language editing, particularly HSS (humanities and social sciences)

Immediate Joiners preferred

Skills:

Ability to communicate

Excellent English language skills

Fast Learner
